Jesse D. Pettit is a co-founding partner of Pettit & Mihok, PLLC (est. 2009).  Mr. Pettit has developed a successful practice at Pettit & Mihok, PLLC representing businesses and individuals in a wide array of litigation matters.  Attorney Pettit has tried cases to jury verdict in both the state and federal courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Pettit has developed a steady practice in the area of family law at Pettit & Mihok, PLLC.   He is experienced in all areas of family law litigation and oversees the representation of Pettit & Mihok, PLLC clients in Allegheny County and Washington County in matters of divorce, custody and support.

Jesse D. Pettit also serves as a Magisterial District Judge in Washington County, Pennsylvania.  This district encompasses areas including Peters Township, Nottingham Township, Union Township and Finleyville Borough.  Judge Pettit presides over cases including civil trials, landlord/tenant disputes and criminal matters pending in his district.

Mr. Pettit started his career in 2001 as a Deputy Attorney General in the Organized Crime and Narcotic Division of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office.   Mr. Pettit also served as a prosecutor for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office before entering private practice in 2006.

Mr. Pettit received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2001. He received his B.S., cum laude, in Pre-Law/Legal Communications from Ohio University in 1997.
